Mission Outreach
First Baptist is thrilled to be part of the spread of God’s love and gospel around the world. We are active in sending missionaries and supporting missionaries and mission projects with our money and with our prayers.
We supports over 75 missionaries and missions projects. We encourage people to respond to God’s call for laborers, whether it means that they move to a foreign country or live and minister in our own community.
Music and Drama
God-honoring music is something we strive for. Many who attend here at FBC, get involved in our music and drama ministry. Some play their instruments. Some are vocalists. Others are involved in the choir. Still others get involved in drama. These volunteers are an important part of the ministry of First Baptist, using their talents and gifts to glorify God.
Children's Church
In order to give our children the best Bible teaching possible, First Baptist holds children’s church service in conjunction with the main service. This special time gives kids more opportunity for interaction and learning in a context and manner that may be better suited to their age and learning styles. Our friendly children’s church volunteers have an endless stream of creativity and love for children.
Greeters and Ushers
The usher and greeter teams at First Baptist fills an important role. They are involved in greeting and helping visitors, helping them locate a seat fi necessary, answering questions, providing direction, as well as meeting and greeting regular attenders as well, generally ensuring that the service can proceed problem-free. The usher and greeter teams is a servant-hearted group of men and women whose ministry is integral to church life.
Multimedia Team
Using media to spread the gospel is a privilege of First Baptist. In an age of widespread technology, we have a stewardship to use these tools as best as possible for the glory of the Lord. All of our weekly sermons are uploaded to our website in audio formats. We also maintain an active Facebook page for additional church communication.
Security
The security team at First Baptist fills a vital role in the protection of all families and children. They are patrolling during all services and any activities that involve children.
